cutting last bit of fat
hi
i train five times a week, and i have got pretty strong and starting to see some real gains, however i still have a little bit of fat on me, which covers my abs especially
i spoke to the pt at my gym and he said i should do 20 minutes on the bike on a high level after each session, this should cut the fat but still keep my muscle.
is this good adivce, and do you recommend any other way to get rid of it?
thanks

in my opinion, the best way to cut the fat is your diet!

that is what the guy at my gym told me as well. high intesity for 20min.
I think it is good advise, but i think the best is the diet. It seems to me atleast when i really buckle down and get stricted with my diet is when i start seeing better results and losing weight.

As HDJoe has posted, a lot will depend on your food intake, High intensity cardio uses muscle glycogen, so extra attention has to be made to food intake or you may lose muscle tissue

I thought that Low intensity is better to cut fat..... I have the same problem, my whole body has change but the abs area still fatty, I'm doing a good diet and everytime I go to the gym I do 30 minutes at the end of the workout in the elliptical..... guess I need to change to High intensity??
