Default i walk to my gym

im only 15, otherwise i would just drive. but i wont be for another 6 months, so i have to walk to my gum. just occured to me that maybe this could affect how much energy i have during my workouts? i eat right before i leave, then walk to my gym, its about a 10-15 minute walk. and i live in south texas, so its HOT outside. could this make a difference?
