Default Good pumps, and good flex, but muscles don't seem...

This may be a really weird problem or not even a problem at all and I'm just insane. Anyways I'm 19 years old and have been working out for about 5-6 years. Besides having a hell of a time finding a new workout, currently I'm doing Doug's 4 day split for muscle gain and have been for about 4 weeks now, I don't know if I am over training or under training with the new routine. In addition while I lift I get amazing pumps, but outside of the weight room my muscles seems to hang off my bones like they are super lazy or something. I take pre-workout creatine (ethyl ester) and have a protein shake after I am done lifting and eat 4-5 meals a day. I'm definitely making my shirts fit smaller, and developing new muscles and veins I have never before seen, but I feel like I can accomplish more.
Considering I have been using the same program for four weeks now I think its time to switch it up, but I don't know if I should do high reps, or low reps or what not. Any suggestions?

you dont need to get a whole new routine after only 4 weeks, most people stick to a routine for 8-12 weeks.

Stick with the same routine for another few months and then maybe alter some of the exercises for slower gaining muscles. As for the soft muscles, I find im a little saggy if my water intake is very low or im dehydrated, whats your water intake like?

Probably entirely too low. I'm always thirsty so that is probably an indicator I don't have enough water....

I think your expectations are the only problem you have. You say your getting bigger, you clothes are tightening, I think you want too much too fast. Keep with the program your on, you'll get to your goal eventually.

Are you cycling the creatine? If not, perhaps you should.
Do you know where your bodyfat falls percentage wise?
Height, weight?
Where would you say your ratio of proteins/carbs/fats lies?

I agree with what others have posted, but I think there are some other issues as well.

I'm 6' 4" 190lbs with bf under 10%. What exactly do you mean with cycling creatine? I have taken it every time I work out for about the past year, but I switch brands often. I'm not too sure about my diet, I eat lots of whole grains like Kashi bars and granola, lots of meat, eggs, cheese, lots of juices like V8 and Fruit.

This is completely unrelated, but has BSN reworked some of their formulas to be better? Saw something about this on a webpage and asked one of my buddies and he said it was so, any truth to this?

try to get a good diet down.
eat REAL fruits and veggies not the "pure veggie" drinks.

your prob at the mind set of wanting too much too soon as stated above.
theres a name for it. when you see yourself and want more and more i forgot what its called lol

I'd get off the creatine for 8 weeks..why?
You are using it mentally as a crutch to keep strength and you can keep strength and build more by focusing on the details of your diet.

Investigate some better carb sources for energy that will make a difference not only in your workouts, but perhaps body composition.
Use oats instead of granola, eat brown rice and potatoes and beans instead of bars.

I agree with Herc....Too much sugar in the drinks in my opinion - it can take your energy (and moods) up and down too much through the day.
At 10% and being 6'4" - you've got a good frame to pack on some muscle and bulk naturally.
And don't worry about keeping up with the guy next to you...you are quite tall and the same weight on an exercise will not work for you as the guy that is 6' or under.
