hubby sends his thanks I hope I never have anything so seriously wrong that it prevents me from lifting but we just don't knwo what our futures' hold. Yep, endurance is something I have to get back up there where it was pre-problems...for some reason it always feels mentally harder the second time around; one day at a time. I have a 28kg KB which hubby encouraged me to get because I want to get to a 28kg KB jerk, so I have a mini goal in that.

things aren't too bad, hubby had a leg op which will involve a year of basic recovery; I'm taking things slow getting back up to speed; though, I did a KB session yesterday and found out that in the month that I hadn't done any lifting that my strength had not dimished which was great.

Great to hear that you're still lifting, even after a break, it's the returning and keeping plugging away that counts; never be one of those people that let one day slip into a week and then a year and a decade, the odd slip doesn't look half so bad in that light Avi, looking great btw

Yep, it's great that people here are helpful, once in a while a "jerk" will show up and be run off though, which all adds to the excitement. Have to admit, I workout alone, so no-one here to discuss weights with and if there was, unfortunately I don't think I'd be taken too seriously; being a female, some males tend to forget females don't have as much strength as they do to start with...so, to some a 75kg deadlift doesn't register as pretty good or even heavy, even though for me it's more than bodyweight.

Hahaha, my log inspiring, that always fascinates me, not in a bad way though , it's just that there are so many on here that lift really heavy and even they get inspired by it...it's all good Get yourself a journal up and running and it just takes off, it's also a good place to recount what gets in the way of training and share ups and downs with others as well, and to find that you're not alone in that sense.
Glad to see you back on the forum *thumbs up* (can't remember the text for that smiley)
