That's true. I still want to gain another 7 lbs before I am finished bulking. Competing is just a vessal I use to keep me striving for greatness like a champion. I need to stay active or else my quality of life will be greatly reduced. I really wanted to get my lean mass up though, and wasn't going to compete this year unless I had reached my weight goal. Eventually I hope to reach a fitness level I can just maintain, but until then I'll bust my butt to get to where I need to be and if that means spending 20 hours a week in the gym, so be it.
My weight training is so strenuous I won't complete it without adaquete rest. I was 108 lbs May 21st 2011, stage weight. I had a hard time gaining weight after,so I cut cardio almost entirely. I do cardio for 20 minutes here and there just to keep my cardio endurance for my weight training. Even without cardio, and on a bulking diet for a year I've only managed to gain 24 lbs from stage weight last year. So tough.
