Default Joint pain in elbow

Hi Guys,
This is my first post on the site.
Im 20yrs old and have been weight training on and off since i was about 15-16.
I recently began lifting again after about a 6 month layoff. My weights hav been increasing significantly over these first few weeks and i think that's because ive lifted heavier weights in the past and my body is just getting back to that quickly ( thats my guess anyway)..
Anyway my right elbow is giving me a bit of pain and im wondering whether you think its the tendon or something not catching up too the muscles as fast and not being able to handle the sudden increases in weight?
If that's the case should i lower the weights or slow my increases or what?
Any feedback would be much appreciated,
Cheers

Prob not as much as i should be. Ill start stretching more from now on.
Do you think i should slow my increase in weights? Its just that at the moment every time i workout im just finding it really easy to do the same weight that i did before. Say the workout before i did 10 reps on the bench and the next time i did around 19. I know these gains arent going to stay like this.
I also have never increased my weights this fast before and don't know what im doing so right for it too happen lol

I had the same thing. Im pretty positive its tendons, like the equivalent of getting tendonits in your forearm.

Stretch it more, and really focus on good form. For me, the pain came when doing tricep exercises, mainly skullcrushers.

Some extra rest is always appreciated by your body, so i would make sure you let it heal in your resting time. Maybe take a few days off.

But overally, rest it, stretch it, maybe alternate ice/heat throughout the day. Its tendons, and its not serious, but it could get worse if you make it.
