I had the same thing. Im pretty positive its tendons, like the equivalent of getting tendonits in your forearm.
Stretch it more, and really focus on good form. For me, the pain came when doing tricep exercises, mainly skullcrushers.
Some extra rest is always appreciated by your body, so i would make sure you let it heal in your resting time. Maybe take a few days off.
But overally, rest it, stretch it, maybe alternate ice/heat throughout the day. Its tendons, and its not serious, but it could get worse if you make it.
