I thought a "Tip of the day" thread might be a nice addition - Something short that might be helpful to somebody. It also might become a useful compendium one day...
So if anybody has something that they've recently heard or learnt, regarding exercises, nutrition, suplements, or anything, post it here. And if we have more than one tip per day, all the better. Always exercise the weaker side first. Then complete only as many repetitions on the stronger side as performed on the weaker side. |

Buy your food in bulk.
Rice: 10kg bag (Im not kidding, you'll be surprised at how fast you use it!) Meat: 1.5kg+ Eggs: Crate With meat especially there can be huge savings. For example, When I was at the supermarket the other day bulk-buy rump steak (3kg) was 40% cheaper than if you bought 500g. Problem is you need a big freezer!

My tip: "Always use a training diary" that way when you start a session look back in your diary to what you achieved last session and this time you want MORE. Ie if you are working in a 6 - 8 rep range and last time you achieved 7 reps then get it in your head that this time you want to achieve 8, and nine times out of ten you will achieve it because it is in your head....hopefully..lol. Once you achieve the 8 reps then next time you up the weight......progress !!!!!!!!

when you do your workout make sure that you give it your all, no good coming out of the gym and saying "I could of done more"
