Have a full week off from training every two months or so. The break will give your body a full recovery and a chance to heal any of those nagging little injuries and pains that are really taking their time to go away.

Keep a visual diary of your progress - take some photos every month or so - this will maintain your enthusiasm.

I just thought of a tip:

Always make sure you're hydrated before you start your workout. If you start your workout dehydrated it doesn't matter how much water you drink throughout you will not get properly hydrated.

Also, dehydration can cause a significant drop in energy levels.
