I think its something like 100 posts = 1 box. Each box is one point. And then right around 100 rep = 1 point. Its not exactly right since as you get to higher levels it takes more and more to get boxes and points.

So from what I understand, 100points on rep gives you 1 more point to your power. 200posts (over a certain amount) gives you 1 more power point. So I have just under 2800 rep points and have gone from Level 13-14 (shown if you hover over my rep bar next to one of my posts). Levels before this don't have numbers, they have phrases like "is a glorious one to behold" or "is a diamond in the rough" or something similar. There are several levels up to 14 but nothing above that from what I can tell as Doug is still Level 14 despite having 90% of the world's rep.

Anyone got an idea how the levels work? Is it on points, posts, a combination?

Some forums utilize a time system. So one year on the forum can equal extra rep power.

This is really amazing to be apart of something like this. After I was done with my career of football I spent a year trying to find something like this to help become the best I could be.

I have about 5-6 positive Reps, which I can see on my User CP. Each one of these Reps have a little green box next to them. Yesterday however, I noticed that I have a new Rep that had a little black box next to it. Is that a negative rep? If so, I am sure that it was a mistake since I am pretty familiar with the particular situation that this Rep was awarded.

Does anyone know more about this?

Thanks!

DH

The dark ones are where users have repped your post but they don't have any rep power so although it shows up, it doesn't increase your score.
