I just read the question, trotted out and loaded up all the weights I've got on the bar. 20kg, and I managed to do 3 nice, slow controlled presses. I wasn't game to try any more. But... YAAAHHH!! lol

so Wolfy, does that mean your benching almost 100lbs total?
isn't the bar itself 45lbs? and then the 20kg on top of that? wow. scary.
I better get working to catch up!
(is that almost like one cub in each hand? )

AWESOME, you'll get 30KG no problem.

What increment of weight plates do you have (2.5lbs,5lbs, 10lbs, 25lbs?)

Sorry I'm a bossy american I can't be bothered to convert them to KG! LOL

You might want to check out these "fractional Plates" so that the jump in weight isn't so big week to week:

Just running and chin ups to go. That'll take more strength, and I think the running will just come from losing body fat.
