I went.
Killed the lats! 30 minutes of slaugtering them!
Thanks guys for the help. My back is on fire this morning! Going heavier 4 x(6-8 reps) did the thing, I think.
P.S. Troy, where did you get that killer exercise? It gave me 'The burn' in my lats like nothing else!

Ha,Ha,Ha - Glad it worked for you Mark.
I get some of this stuff from what I call "Old School"
Back when guys used to invent a way to work a muscle better, angle a limb another way just to see how it would feel two days later, weld their own equipment together at the gym if there wasn't anything on the market to do the exercise they wanted.
I used to read Muscle & Fitness relegiously in the late 70's and early 80's when they had more articles than ads. Picked up a lot of ideas for exercises from that as well.
Most of what I've learned is that you have to involve your core as much as possible.
If you isolate too much you will never have the joint support or body balance to really push heavy weights.
Okay - I'll stop now.

Hmm
Hmmm, I've been trying to grow my lats as well, mainly with pull ups with various kinds of grips, but this old-skool exercise sounds like something to be broughten back...the only problem I have troubles visualizing it, any1 know a wesite with pics of that exercise???
EDITED:
Is this it?

Wide grip pull ups are the best back builder, especially for width. Here are some pics (from this site)
Wide grip pull up
Also check out the other back exercises.
There are loads of good supersets for the back, chuck some of them in as well.

Yeah what he's talking about it a variation of that exercise. Instead fo putting one knee on the bench he's bending over. And the angle he pulls the weight up is different as well.

Question:
In seated pulley rows with a V-grip, I've always used the grip with the V pointing at the floor (ie. with a "underhand" grip). However, this weekend I saw a picture of Arnold demonstrating seated pulley rows with the V pointing at the roof (ie. overhand grip, if you can call it that...)
Does it make a difference?

When the V is pointing down, your amrs have tendency to bring the elbows close to your body while pulling in.
When the V is pointing up, the arms will have a tendency to spread the elbows a littel bit.
Guess that will affect the inner vs lower lats area. Not sure though
