On that note i would like to ask, Is it really necessary to do cardio training to see your abs, i mean I train 5 days a week so therefore won't my metabolism rate shed alot of fat as long as I eat correctly? I train abs 2-3 times weekly also.

There is different views on cardio..

Tadolfi (a mod on this site) does not do any cardio at all, and is cutting 1-2 pounds a week based on pure diet. It would all depend on your diet and how fast your metabolism is I suppose. You can try that approach for a couple weeks just to see how much you are losing. If you're not doing cardio, you wouldn't burn so much muscle. Provided your diet is top notch.

No prob Zeph, anytime buddy.

I agree, he won Mr. Olympia 2006 with those abs even though they weren't aligned

Yeah, I've heard it isn't tested in Olympia...So anyone that didn't take them would be at a disadvantage (at least competition wise...not living wise)

Well said Tripper.
And thanks for the plug on the no cardio...I'm going to start a new way of cutting. Ha,Ha,Ha

Tripper's right though - you gotta see what works for you and even with ABs it will be some trial and error.
