alternative for dumbell Shrugs
hi
i am following "Doug Dumbbell & Barbell Mass Workout" at

In shoulders exercises i want to replace "Dumbell Shrugs" with some other alternate exercise.
Plz guide that which is the best alternate exercise for Dumbell Shrugs

Why do you want to replace it? it's probably the best for hitting your traps...could always do barbell curls if you don't like the dumbells (grip reasons??)

Front or behind the back barbell shrugs, but as stated, you need to find some dumbells... in my mind the hit the traps better.

Upright rows? I always feel those in my traps, front delts too though.

Upright rows are not a "replacement".... those are often done as supersets or an additional exercise with the shoulders/traps.

^^^ yea plate shrugs or barbell front/back shurgs. also if you have a head harness or able to use a 4 way neck machine. still I would use dumbbell shrugs.

My gym has a shrug machine that allows you to load the plates on the sides. I much prefer it over dumbbell shrugs.
