Default Doug 4 day split Tricep day Help

Im working out at home for my shoulders/triceps day of dougs 4 day split.
Problem is i dont have a ez-curl bar for skullcrushers, So i was thinking this:

Pushdowns 3 sets
Seated rope tricep extensions 3 sets
Kickbacks 3 sets.

How does that look?
Problem is i dont have the ex-curl bar, If an exercise i had that could come close, would probably be the dumbell french press, but wouldnt that strain the shoulders with lying down, doing the 2 dumbells at once?

Anyway, whats your opinion on my tricep day.
I've tried to make it as good as possible, and as close as possible.

You can do skullcrushers with a barbell.

Wouldnt it hurt my wrist? how will my wrist go with the grip strength? i mean its a straight barbell.. nothing to really grip, wrists would feel in an un-natural position?

Anyone use this method of skull crusher, and if so, is it effective? I intend to try it next week, in place of the ones my book shows, so I just wondered...whether anyone else has done them like this:

I've done it with barbells for years, I know a lot of other people have as well.

I've never had problems with it and my wrists,

I have no idea what you mean by grip, grip strength should be fine, your lifting a lot more with shrugs and deads etc. As for nothing to grip? I really am unsure what you mean here, What grip do you use? I have never really experienced any grip problem and certainly not with this exercise.

I have heard others talk about the wrists before, I think I have even read a post on this forum before about it. I've just never experienced any problems with the barbell nor have others I train with.

Ok, I just headed down to the garage and tried a few of these with light weights with a standard barbell to test out.

It was my elbows that felt a bit painful/Weird from it.
I thought the grip wouldnt be good, but i realised you use palms facing out grip, so the grip is ok.

Is it one of those exercises where alot of weight is needed, or one that requires little weights with perfect form for a pump.

It isn't a natural movement, so it does feel a little weird.

As for weight. The stock answer should be all exercises are perfect form over weight lol.

Its definitely an exercise you need to have perfect form for though.
