I have a question.

In the article you say if you are gaining weight but it is as much fat as it is muscle then you should eliminate carbs from the last two meals of the day (except post-workout shake).

Does that mean eliminate them entirely or just place them earlier in the day? For example, I am shooting for 3200cal and if I eliminate carbs from the last 2 meals of the day I might be down to ~2800cal unless they are "made up" by eating more carbs earlier in the day.

Have the carbs earlier in the day, normally increase the Breakfast meal, pre training meal, and post training meal....all the rest can be smaller meals

Typically for cutting fat you would want around :
40% Protein
40% Carbs
20% Fats

For bulking up you could use the above, or use:

30% Protein
50% Carbs
20% Fats

Most importantly Keep Protein at least 1g per lb of bodyweight.

- When cutting you would want a lower percentage of carbs.
- When cutting you would want to keep protein levels high to help maintain those muscles.
- When cutting you would want to moderate your fats, stay to healthy fats such as ( avocados, nuts, olive oil )

If your still unsure about this, Read this article :
