Default My 2 year transformation timeline

Ok, so this is my 2 year transformation timeline:

Info: 16 yrs old
5'10"
Bulking

The first picture was taken at the end of my summer when I was going into 9th grade. I was 5'7" 170 lbs. I was overweight, and close to being considered "pretty fat."

The next two pictures were taken at the end of my 9th grade summer, going into 10th grade. Basically one year apart. I got really SKINNY! I stuck to a diet, and I used this site to learn more about lifting weights, but I was overtraining and I wasn't doing it right. I was 130 lbs (5'9"), and I was nervous to put on any fat. So, I ended up making very little progress.

And here I am at the end of 10th grade. I had gone up to 150 lbs throughout the winter months (20 lb gain). I followed Doug's 4 day split to do that. I then joined track as a long distance runner, and I cut down to 145 lbs (5'10"). The first picture is me at the top of my bulk (the one with a shirt on). And the following are the ones when I was in my best shape yet.

I haven't been able to lift in almost a month due to an injury, but I start back up this week. I managed to keep most of my size and hardly gain any fat over this time. My question is, what should I work on from here? What are my weak points? My plan is to spend the next month slowly getting back into physical activity so my body gets used to it again and I don't hurt myself, and then spend about a solid 6 months of bulking. By the spring I would like to be a decent amount bigger than now, as I'm only 5'10" 145 lbs.

So this is my detailed 2 year transformation timeline. Sorry for the length. Feedback on what to do next is appreciated! Thanks.

You can see the improvements, well down.

Keep with it, in the next couple of years or so, you'll fill out naturally and find you'll put muscle on easier.

My big problem though young man Is FIND SOME PANTS THAT FIT YOU. Your jeans are falling down FFS!!

Hey thanks!

And yes, i recently bought pants that fit me haha. Those were still my old size 36-38 waist pants that I wore the year before. I now need a 32. It took me a while to find pants in my size in the style i liked. They are made for large people.

Thanks for the replies so far!

So, in november, i'm planning on doing a serious bulk until march. I want to try to gain as much muscle and size as i can while still keeping my BF% reasonably low.

So, what areas need the most work?

I know i don't have any leg pictures, but honestly, they are probably my strongest, most predominant muscles, so besides legs, what is my main area to focus on?

For now just focus on all over getting each muscle set worked right, Its far too early and your far too young to say this or that is the area for you to focus on. We don't know in the next 18-24 months how your body is going to develop.

Might wanna resize those pics next time

Progress is solid mate, nice work.

If I were you I'd focus on shoulders, upper chest and back. You're starting to get some good shape now you should work on trying to get the v-taper look. Hit the lats and upper back hard.

Good luck!
