Very misguided training - critique my physique anyway :)
Critique my physique!!
History for anyone interested... Been actually attempting to train for just over a year, with very misguided efforts, started out doing press ups and bicep curling most days, then started hitting the gym at uni a few months later, overtraining everytime I went, it was a bit on off at times. A few months ago realised I was overtraining, then found this forum and started a slighty more proper workout this summer - but still struggling to find my feet and settle on a 4 day split for homebased barbell/dumbbell equipment. Someone on here also recently pointed out last week that I was strength training rather than muscle training - doh!!
Started out a year ago about 10.5 stone, I found it hard to gain weight and put on muscle but now I'm at 11.1 stone. Hopefully after my first terrible year, its onwards and upwards. Feel free to throw in any advice etc
I agree with the above... But don't worry, most of us start off the wrong way too... Now you have M&S and you'll be on the right track before you know it... Keep up the good work...
