Default Any good cardio exercise?

Is there certain cardio exercise that are effective at burning fat?
Are cardio machines really effective?
How long should I be doing my cardio?
In machines, what's the difference between Cardio and Fat burn?
Some machines have buttons that say Cardio or fat burn. Don't cardio burn fat?
Should I do cardio after every workout or have a separate cardio day?

All cardio exercises burn calories. If you eat less calories than you burn, you will lose fat. Cardio increases your metabolic rate, and gets you cardiovascularly fit.

If you eat more than you burn, you will not burn fat, whether you're doing cardio or not.

If you're on a good diet, cardio will speed up your fat loss.

Yes.

A minimum of 30 minutes to burn fat, since you need to deplete your glycogen stores before your body begins to use fat as a fuel source. 45 minutes is ideal.

The Fat burn program makes increases the intensity while you are working out, thereby increasing your heart rate, depleting glycogen stores quicker.

Yes. But see my previous answer.

Cardio after a workout is most effective for fat loss, since glycogen stores are already depleted, but you are more likely to burn muscle, too.

All cardio burn's fat

Some better than other's thou.

Treadmill's are very affective at burning fat

where as an exersice bike is less affective but is better at toning the leg muscles

Thats what Saurus said, when he referred to how much cardio should be done before fat burning takes place...

"A minimum of 30 minutes to burn fat, since you need to deplete your glycogen stores before your body begins to use fat as a fuel source. 45 minutes is ideal".

Once glycogen stores are depleted thats when the body will use more fat for fuel...

Tell me if im correct on this?

You should always do your weight training before cardio, to use up your glycogen .

Then when you do cardio, as your glycogen is depleted, you willl be burning fat.

And for some one who was looking to put on muscle but try to minimise fat gain 20 mins cardio is suffceint?

Yes: Weights before cardio,,
Yes: Once glycogen stores are lowered then more fat is used for fuel..

Your third question is dependant on bodytype, ectomorphs should not do cardio if they want to put mass on. Dietary modifications if you are putting bodyfat on is better than having to do cardio to keep fat off...

So I basically have to use up my Glycogen before my body starts to use fat as fuel?

If i burn more calories than I eat, i burn more fat but if I eat more calories than I burn, I wouldn't lose my fat?

Also, how would you lose muscle when doing cardio right after exercise?
