Default Weight question

How do you know when to move up in weight? Do you just have to push yourself to do the weight? It seems like I have not gone up in curls in a while but every time I try to add weight onto my biceps exercise my technique is all screwed up. Any tips?

Also, about how long should you do a workout for before switching routines? I have been going for around 2-3 months, time to change it up?

I think its time to change the routine, either exercises, intensity, duration or frequency.....

I am doing your program. Can I keep the same format as your current program but switch the exercises? I like the feel of working the specific muscles the way you set it up.

Yes you can, and/or you could alter the rep range to straight sets (6-8 or 8-10),

Please explain how to do this using, lets say, a shoulder press for example. Does this mean I can still do the current exercises, but with different reps?

You can do the same exercises but with different rep ranges, you can also change the exercises and/or change the rest times,
