Default rest between sets and sets of reps

i'm fixing to begin on the 3-day hardcore program and some of the workouts say to do different sets of reps for the set itself. for example it might say do 3 sets of 10, 8, 6. the question i have is do i rest between the 10 reps and 8 reps and if so how long? how long should i rest between the actually sets? i'm just confused because i thought we weren't supposed to work out longer than an hour a day and it seems like this workout will take longer than an hour. thanks for any help

90 seconds between sets

Do 10, wait 90 seconds. Then do 8, wait 90 seconds. etc....

If you are doing each rep properly, it should take 5 seconds per rep. Then, with the breaks, the total workout will take 1 hour.
