Default BMR = Gold Standard?

The only reason i ask is according to my BMR with my level of activity and height, weight, age ect is 4108....soo according to that i need to take in 3600 calories a day to lose weight. That seems like ALOT of food to me considering my current weightloss ive only been doing around 2000 calories. Any suggestions on what i should add in? I posted a daily menu in the other section ill do it here as well...

Breakfast:
2 cups Kashi Go Lean Cereal, 1% Milk, V8 Veggie Juice
392 Calories

Snack:
30 Pistachios
120 Calories

Lunch:
8oz Top round Sirloin steak, green beans
544 Calories

Snack:
Low Fat String Cheese + Granny Smith Apple
110 Calories

Dinner:
BBQ Seasoning Chicken, Whole Wheat Bagel, Carrots
632

The average per day intake is around 1900-2000 calories

How are you doing right now with that diet? If it's working for you and you're losing weight steadily (not drastically because this is not good), then don't change anything. If you're having difficulties concentrating or doing your daily routine because of lack of energy, you should add more calories to compensate that.

I think heard in the past that the BMR calculator may not be very accurate for someone who's too big or too thin.
