Default Cutting = Length of time

So ive been bulking and heavy lifting since october.. i think start of march im going to start my cut.. i wanna really cut a huge amount of my fat around my mid section and back which im hanging onto and i hate it.. how long is it safe to cut for? i was thinkin a couple months at least or untill i was happy. Can i continue to cut untill i hit a desired lvl or?

Simply, Yes you can cut for aslong as you wish.
Continue cutting untill you reach a target BF%.
Although continous cutting will result in some muscle loss eventually I believe.

Ben is right, you can cut as long as wish, however you're likely to come across some roadblocks like muscle loss, tiredness and energy depletion and reduced rate of fat loss. I've found that I can cut for longer periods of time when I cut for a certain period of time maybe six to eight using a deficit of 500 calories and then eat on my maintenance diet for a bit... maybe two to four weeks. After that I can continue to cut if I choose. I'm basically allowing my body a chance to 'catch up' and re-establish a normal healthy function before depriving myself again.

Remember -- everyone is different, try cutting for different lengths of time, see what works. If you continue seeing results, don't radically change anything. The best way to achieve your goal is to gently readjust when you're not getting the results you want.
