Default Working out at 8pm at night

I am currently working out at 8pm at night 3 days a week as it is my only free time.

i usually eat 40g of complex carbs and 60g of protein for dinner and glass of skim milk around 6-630.

after my work out i have 3 egg whites and 3 slices of fat free cheese and 3 rice cakes. this totals about 27g of protein and 23g of carbs.

then before i go to sleep i have a 16 oz glass of milk. 16g protein and 26g carbs.

i am a getting enough nutrients after my work out? and should i be careful about eating to much more before i go to sleep at 11pm?

If it allows you to get in the calories, don't worry about what time of day it is. Now, if you're totally full when going to bed you could have some GI distress.

For post workout, as long as your daily macro nutrients needs are being met, it looks to be sufficient.

no i am not overly full. i would say just about right. i got nervous when i read an article saying you should consume 40g of protein after the work an eat even more protein with like 80g of high GI carbs in a meal after as well. i am getting about 220 grams of protein and and 370 grams of carbs a day with my current diet. my weight is 150. that should be sufficient to build muscle mass right?

Well you are definitely at the higher end of protein consumption with 220 grams for a 150 pound body. So I think it's all good as long as you are above your calorie needs (in a surplus) you should be putting on muscle mass.
