Six times per week is just too much for most people.

While some of your smaller bodyparts (ie-shoulders, arms, calves) may not tax the CNS system hard and you can do them more often, your bigger bodyparts (ie-back and legs) sure will. If you must, you could do those smaller bodyparts twice per week, but the bigger bodyparts should be left to once per week workouts.

Another option would be to use a Heavy/Light system in which once per week you do a heavy workout for a bodypart, and then later in the week, you do a light workout. This will help with CNS and muscle recovery, but will still allow you to workout the bodypart twice a week.
Well when I say back and legs I only do one exercise for both 3 sets of 12 reps and I take a protein shake after working out.

As far as over training I don't think I am, I'm never real sore for a long time and I am progressing in my training.

.. And you forgot to add Arnold was using insane poundage also.
So for mere mortals like me, when I lift 1/10th load of what he was using, I am respecting that fact that he was on steroids and had genes of a hulk.

The thing about more frequent workout is to keep it from being something like a weightlifting championship event.

Your CNS gets taxed not because of back or legs - but because of lifting loads which are very heavy. So heavy that you are not able to complete even 6 reps.
That can happen doing biceps also.

So if you are not doing "weightlifting" every workout, you can safely make exercises more frequent.

In any case, answer to the OP is that yes indeed you can carry out with mild/moderate activities. Bike riding is not at all a CNS intensive activity.

Alright thanks thats what I thought because I never really lift insanely heavy anyways I don't want to get super bodybuilder type huge and days like tuesday and sunday I just hit my abs and use no weights what so ever except for one exercise and go for a run later in the day and I feel fine.
