Dear Muscle and Strength - I have been training now for 30+ years, and in all that time I have never been able to shift the body fat from my frame as I have always been worried about losing muscle. when I use weight to try and tone up I still find that the body fat stays. My reason for this thread is that I would like to know what are the best body weight exercises that I can use to get rid of body fat making allowances for my back condition and arthritis.
I need to get myself fit again and get energised without damaging my back any further as I have suffered with a back condition for 23 years hence my reason for wanting to do body weight exercises, please advice. ps : - I do not use cardio machines as these pressure my lower back and I do not run due to arthritis in all my joints, if possible I would like some advise on healthy eating which is realistic for working and family people. |

Welcome to the forum.
How is your actual diet? If the diet isn't good and suited for fatloss ( eating less than your body requires ), you will not see it happen. You cannot out train a lousey diet, so it is crucial to get things right in the nutritional part of things. How is swimming for your body? Swimming is a great form of cardio to perform. Check out the articles in this section for further fatloss help and advice. Fat Loss Articles
