Cool Fat loss

Dear Muscle and Strength - I have been training now for 30+ years, and in all that time I have never been able to shift the body fat from my frame as I have always been worried about losing muscle. when I use weight to try and tone up I still find that the body fat stays. My reason for this thread is that I would like to know what are the best body weight exercises that I can use to get rid of body fat making allowances for my back condition and arthritis.

I need to get myself fit again and get energised without damaging my back any further as I have suffered with a back condition for 23 years hence my reason for wanting to do body weight exercises, please advice.

ps : - I do not use cardio machines as these pressure my lower back and I do not run due to arthritis in all my joints, if possible I would like some advise on healthy eating which is realistic for working and family people.

Welcome to the forum.

How is your actual diet?
If the diet isn't good and suited for fatloss ( eating less than your body requires ), you will not see it happen.
You cannot out train a lousey diet, so it is crucial to get things right in the nutritional part of things.

How is swimming for your body?
Swimming is a great form of cardio to perform.
