Default Is there such thing as a Maintenance Routine

I was wondering if there is such a thing as a maintenance routine. By this I mean, you get to the level of size, weight, strength and look that you were aiming for and want to keep it there without losing what you built.

All i've seen are bulking, cutting or workouts that increase strength which makes sense, so I'm wondering if there's such a thing as maintenance routines and how do they look.

"Maintenance" is mostly through the diet.
By eating the amount you require in the diet, you should be able to maintain your body weight and muscle size. Keeping the lifting fairly heavy will also help preserve the muscle mass and strength you have.

You could probably use most of the workouts in this site for " maintaining " your current levels of muscle/strength, but also adjust your calorie intake to your Basal Metabolic Rate requirement.

I agree with Scrutiny; eating maintenance calories will accomplish what you're looking for.

I used to wonder when I'm gonna get to the point where I just wanna "Maintane". But haven't got there yet, and now realize I probly never will. Cuz now "maintance" would mean I don't wanna "improve" on myself. And I hope that's not for a looong time

You do get to a certain point as a natural where strength and muscle gains are incredibly slow to zero. You can go into maintenance mode, but I still recommend cycling up the intensity every now and then to push yourself.

If you reach a comfortable level of muscle mass, there's nothing wrong with taking weeks "off" where you don't push yourself for more. But don't back down from your strength gains, or you risk losing muscle mas.
