Default Alittle Discouraged!

So for some reason lately i feel discouraged with my gains. I mean i do see gains and i started off with really skinny arm's but have managed to get decent gains.. i mean i notice the difference alot in my shoulders, traps and chest... triceps and biceps are growing but for some reason my biceps arn't as big as im wishing they were.. Ive only been working out since November 1st.. been working out a steady 4 days a week.. and have moved onto my second routine which i just started in january.

Anyway i just wanna be reassured that this kinda thing takes time.. i just want to have bigger arms NOW, but its just slow gaining for me i guess

I want bigger arms too, but I'm cutting now hehe.
Yeah, it's normal to feel frustrated every now and then. Just keep telling yourself to look at the bigger picture and the reward to come. Seeing the changes keeps me motivated.

Yes, rest assured, it can take years depending on your starting point. Stick with it, this is a life-time thing. If you make it part of your life style; something you wouldn't think of stopping, then you'll look back in 20 years and wonder what the big hurry was.

Just keep pushing hard. Size will come although your genetics have a major role as well. Remember this also, the tricep is basically twice the size of your bicep. Your arm muscles are used in most of the major compound movements so you are hitting them just about anytime your are working out. Patience Grasshopper... (eh, you're probably too young to get that huh?)

Hi, if it was possible to make huge gains in a couple of months, gyms would be empty most of the year. Like everything in life, it takes dedication and perseverance to succeed..Keep at it, you will make gains

If you want the most gains make sure that you have your diet, routines, form in perfect shape to make sure you make the fastest gains possible for your. It is a long road don;t look at the steps you are taking now look down the road a ways, no one gets huge overnight even if there are cheating (drugs) they still have to put the work in and wait.

Are you setting yourslef goals? it seems, like many people your long-term goal might be an impressive set of guns as well as a physique that has been chiseled out of granite. but you need short term goals because you will feel de-motivated by the time its taking to get to where u want to be.

I would suggest if you havent got clearly defined goals get some, it might be adding an extra rep to your max bench press or adding a few pounds to your curls, these short term goals constantly need revising as and when you reach them. then they will all add up to reaching the end recult you're looking for

From my personal experience it'll get better, starting from nothing and by my 8th month my weights were still moving up while cutting, some started to plateau around 10-12 months.... looked much more 'full' by then...

now things aren't really movin... but bodyfat's going down.... leads me to believe my noobie gains are over
