I second what Blitz says, you're not fat...in fact you have the perfect start for muscle build because you're already pretty lean.

Agreed. Go for a bulk. Use a beginner/compound movements routine and start eating! Once you gain 10/15 lbs. you can decide whether you want to continue bulking or switch to cutting.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Oh dude.... 12 months in a gym... individuals have huge potential for change. I have my 5 month marker & my 10 month marker... but even in 5 months you can see a difference...

The same sort of progress you will see to, if not better :P

I think you have a good build for working out. I have a feeling you'll have massive shoulders if you stick with it! You'll never know though if you don't get in there and work hard!!!

I am just curious how tall are you , and what is your weight & age ?

The tools list gives and ideal measurements section , I love this tool it gives you a really cool goal to shoot for and the more close in on that goal the more motivation you will have.

Since your main reason for motivation is what you see in the mirror and not performance you should really start to notice some changes at the 3 month mark if your diet is geared towards your goals & you train hard & by that point in time I think you will find that you will be alot stronger & hopefully you catch the workout "bug" and keep at it !!!!
