Hey
Last year I worked out very irregularly and no more than 20 times at the most. No routine or diet plan and just using equipment at home. This year I intend to use the 3 day workout for beginners and stick to a good diet and take protein powder. Is this the best beginners workout to start with? I've changed 1-2 exercises as I am doing this from home. I intend to follow this routine for 10weeks and take a look at the results and see what is the next best step. Abit about me: 19 in Feb 165lb 6" BF% is 18 i think. Thanks for your comments |

The beginners routine is perfect to use, if you have had a layoff or new to training.
After the 10-12 weeks on it you can then progress to another workout.

Great, thanks.
Any recommendations as to which is best to move on from there? Or is it best to sort that out nearer the time? Possibly will wish to cut for a few weeks. |

I think this workout would be best for you with the cutting, in terms of experience and workload.
http://www.muscleandstrength.com/wor...g-workout.html The other ones are quite advanced, and include advanced techniques such as supersets, trisets etc.

Just had a read of that, looks good! Looks quite tiring compared to the amount I do now but after 10weeks hopefully I'll be up for it.
Thanks! Rep+ |
