Default Building strength.

Hi, I have been working out at my home for around a month now.

I am an Ectomorph and keep a steady 65kg all year round without doing any exercise. I do stick to a healthy diet consisting of 3 main meals and some other snacks if need be, just like a ordinary person.

I have lower back issues because of my spine being slightly more curved than normal so i have been doing Planks and pullovers to strengthen my back. I have also been doing Hammer curls for my biceps and Pushups for my triceps and pecs. I have been seeing small results but feel its not improving as much as i'd like.

So my question to you guys is... Will i be able to strengthen my muscles without going on a weight gainer diet, as i dont want to go out of my current lifestyle to fit in 6 meals a day..

Well with regards to your scoliosis make sure to consult your health care practitioner before attempting to increase your intensity to much , as you don't want to risk injury , lets face it doing what your doing now will increase your size / strength alot more then no workout if you get hurt.

Once you do that , my suggestion is you will need to go 1/2 way on breaking that regular eating habit you have , if you don't get enough calories then you wont gain , doesn't matter how hard you workout you gotta feed them afterward ( your muscles that is )

You say you eat three meals , well I also eat three meals a day But I space them out from 7 am , 12 Pm and 6 pm and I make sure each meal has nearly 1000 calories , with the exception of dinner which usually only has 600-800

So essentially I just eat More , not more often. Although I bet that If I had the cash for a good whey protein supplement to throw in twice a day I would grow even more , so my final suggestion to you is seek quality foods rich in protien eat lots when you do eat and make sure you intake 10 eight ounce glass's of water a day along with a good multi vitamin not a cheap one cause there synthetic crap and your body absorbs them as well as rocks.
hope that helps
