hey guys
so this is hard to explain but ill giv it a go. i was hittn the gym for 8 months a year ago then i stoppd for personal reasons. about 2 weeks ago now ive gotten back into it. chosen a workout from this site and made a meal plan. all good and ready to go. now the (what i think) problem. ill use biceps as an example but i feel it all over. if i tense my right bi, i can actually feel it in the bicep. but if i tense my left bi, i feel it more around my elbow/tricep my right side of my body is the dominant side and it is stronger (from top to bottem) my question is. am i feeling this because of the dominance? or is there something with my body? or am i doing something wrong? (even though i think i have prety good form when working out) and what can i do to fix it any help would be much apreciated |

If you feel that one side of your body is stronger, use dumbells rather than barbells for your exercises. Use the same weights and do the same sets and rep's for each side and eventually they will even out.

so u think i feel the tense more in the right side of my body due to the dominance?
kk, well in my routine there is alot of dumbell work. so i should just even out eventually then. thanks for the input ltl. does everyone else agree? |

In terms of how you tense; I think your mind may be playing tricks on you but if you're worried about single side dominance, unilateral dumbell training is the way to go.
