Depending on the belt - punch a hole between the fifth and sixth like AlexE recommended...if not possible, wrap a towel around the belt when you use it to take up the extra space.

Don't wear a belt too tight - it's bad for the organs from a compression standpoint and it takes you out of the lift mentally because of the possible pain or discomfort.

This is where I get chewed on. I do not own or wear a Weight Belt. I'm not in this training for Max 1RM or to impress anyone but myself.

I should probably get one but there is a lot of discomfort when wearing one.

I feel that if the weight is manageable there is no need for one, even when Squatting.

Should I get one anyway???
