Default Getting big

I am 23 and male. I am tallish with medium build. Never spent to much time in sports or gyms. Have just started really. I feel asthough I have to work a lot harder since I don't have too much of a build at all. I am doing a lot of weights and training but I am assuming it will take a good year to see some decent result? I am at a gym now too

It will be a good year if you put 100% into your training, and get your diet right

BMR + 500kcals broken down into correct ratios will reap you good results.

Not really sure what you are asking with the rest of the question though.

I was just curious how long it would take because I assume I am at a disadvantage since I was not already semi fit. I don't want to be huge just decent sized chest and arms

You should ensure you go up in proportion. It will take maybe 6 weeks of perfection and you will notice results. but if your doing it right you will just stay anabolic all the time constantly growing (slowly)

You will not notice day to day, but you look back at a picture, or put an old shirt on and you will notice the gains you have made. You will see family members with no idea about muscles and assume you are on steroids!! If they do that your doing it right!

Dont concentrate on building a big chest and arms, that will just cause a muscle imbalance and put you at risk of poor posture and injuries.

It takes time, dedication and perseverance to build a good body, results can normally be seen after about six weeks of good training and nutrition, where you go from there is specific to you..Good luck

You must train all muscles smartly. Smaller muscles require less stimulation to be ready to grow. What is TRALEE?

Stretch for flexability and your posture should be ok if you make a concious effort to make it right all the time
