Hi all. First time posting. My question is I have injured my bicep. It feels like i have pulled the tendon. It does not hurt when working out but does nag me when not working out. I have decided to take a few weekes off from training. Any way my question is will i lose what i have gained by taking some time off. I really dont want to but i think i should give it some time to heal. what do you all think? I have not gone to the doctor because i dont think it hurts enough to go. I am not a fan of being ripped off by them. Thanks

No idea what it's like in your part of the world, but it's almost always a good idea to get some professional advice about injuries. Something not hurting doesn't mean there isn't potentially something wrong. That lecture aside (:P), your body has a great ability to recover muscle mass fairly quickly. Still, when you come back take it easy and do one of the beginner routines for the first few weeks to ease back into it.
Good luck. |
