Default Bodybuilding Magazines

What are some good Bodybuilding magazines to read that don't just toss a bunch of worthless **** at you? Most of the ones I looked at today seemed to be full of over-hyped supplements, faked results, and sex pills. Are there any good magazines out there that actually give great advice and show some real results/routines? Thanks for any help!

Yes, yes it is. But I like to read a lot, and don't fancy sitting in front of the computer all the time to do that reading. And my parents certainly don't either.

Koders - got a library card?
Best resource for me ever!
Go to a bookstore and check out the sections on strength training, bodybuilding, nutrition, diet, aging, supplementation, energy....just off the top of my head.
Write some book titles down that look interesting (Kind of like making your Christmas list) - head over to the public library and check 'em out.

Now, you may not get all the new releases, but you can definitely get a strong base knowledge, and this will lead to more focused questions that pertain to your own personal goals.

ADDED: Check out Amazon for others that may be a couple years old...you can buy them used if you find you like them.

Alright, thanks. I was looking for magazines to just skim through and maybe find some good articles, but this works too. I've already got a few to check out, like Starting Strength, and will be sure to add more and hopefully build a more knowledgeable base so I don't have to ask so much.

Questions are always welcome.
And the more details you can give in the question, usually the more detailed and informative the response will be.

We very rarely beat on people like the site you mentioned.
You really gotta have a loose screw for us to do that...and what we find is that most leave cause they don't rattle us a lot...they just get ignored.

Alright, sounds good. Still, I'll keep research to a maximum, and questions to a minimum. Just to avoid that annoyance probability.

Do not avoid asking questions. Not everything can be answered in books. More experienced lifters like Troy (tadolfi) can explain a lot from their own experiences and wisdom.

By all means Ask!!!

Oh, I will do plenty of asking. I'm going to try and figure out as much as I can on my own through research. Because that's just the way I like to do things, and then I will have a more in-depth knowledge of things.

Just remember that if you get stuck, ask. I am doing the same thing you are at 36 years of age. When it comes to your health, there are no "stupid" questions.
