Default Different Rep ranges,

Hi all, Im a complete beginner, but just wanted to ask about what the different rep ranges do and how they vary your goals?? Like you have 6-10, 10-12 etc, what do they all do?? Its just a simple quick question. Thanks!

x < 5 is strength training. 6-12 is muscle building. 12+ is muscular endurance.
