Default Cutting / Building Question

I'm not exactly a beginner, been working out for about a year now, my question is, would I get any results if I lift heavy for 2 weeks aka 6-8 rep range for muscle building (one of them strength workouts) and then do a cutting workout for another 2 weeks, in the 12-15 rep range, would that produce good results? I usually workout 4-5 times a week. My goal is to build up like Mariusz Pudzianowski (World's Strongest Man) like how is he able to get soo huge and cut at same time?

Hi mate,

I can't see that way producing great noticable results.
When cutting you are best using lower reps in the 6-10 range anyway.
Lifting weights in the 12-15 range is only good for endurance, it has no benefit for fatloss.
If you are wanting to cut properly and maintain as much mass as possible, stick with lower reps.

Professional bodybuilders spend years to attain their look.
It takes plenty of time and dedication to get a big, cut look.
Not to mention they would have to bulk first, and then cut later on down the track for several months with a diet that is suited 100% to them.

You also need to distinguish whether you want to cut fat, or build up.
Both cannot be done at the same time.

to cut, you don't do rep ranges of 12+. that's a myth, cutting comes down solely to your diet, and so does bulking to an extent.
