I see people arguing over which is better quite often.
My goal is to lose fat. What if I combine them and do every second day hiit and lit? Say mon-wed-fri 1 hour @ 7 to 7.5 km/hr tue-thur-sat 10*30 sec at full speed? sun off. Im on -500 cals/day. Thoughts appreciated |

Mixing it up should be fine. I lean towards more LIT than HIIT, although i prefer HIIT if i have the energy for it.
As long as you do it and can stick to it, anything should be acceptable. Many people have different opinions, and it's even possible that nobody really knows, only thinks they know. I've done my share of digging around, and decided to stick to what i'm doing since it works. Possibly one day i'll determine what kind of combination is better, but that takes alot of time and careful evaluation of progress (calipers and detailed measurments if you have the patience for it). |
