Default Wrist Wraps or No Wrist Wraps... That is the question.

I Never felt pain in my wrist and never thought wrist wraps are important, but I have been told that I need them when dealing with heavy weight. Some rumors I herd is that if you get use to wraps your wrist will be weak and wont grow stronger. Others say that there are a lot of bones and tendons in the wrist that need to be protected and that you should get wrist wraps. Which is it?

I use them on pressing movements when using my heaviest weights as I started to get soreness and tendon pain. If you can get away without them I would unless you're considering powerlifting with maximum loads in which case more protection is always a nice insurance.

I have found that I need to use wrist wraps when overhead pressing moderate weights, benching with dumbells,or trying to up my flat barbell bench. As my wrists get terribly sore. I don;t want to get hurt so I always error on the side of safety and wear what ever I need to.
