Default close grip push-up harder than any other type of push-ups?

hi
this is my third week into my workout. for the last 2weeks, i tried doing close grip push-ups but couldn't even do 5 of them.
I can normally do like 3sets x 30 pushups easily.
so why can't i do that many reps on the close-grip push-ups?

Close-grip push up utilizes a lot on your triceps then from your regular push up. So you can have a weak triceps that can't hold your body weight up when your hands are closer. But stick with it and eventually you would progress

It focases on triceps which are a smaller muscle so you wont be able to do as many. To strengthin your triceps try close grip bench and skull crushers

After you can do the Closed Grip Bench, Skull Crushers, and Closed Grip Push-Ups, you can move up to Full Body Dips.

Another way to Build your Triceps is to do Bench Dips, then move to weighted Bench Dips. These Blast the Triceps.

Here is the Link to the Triceps Exercises.

If you're a real man you'll do one-finger pushups!

Also the narrow grip push-ups + bench presses involve a greater range of motion (for chest as well as triceps), and places emphasis of the front deltoids.
Which tires your muscles faster.

i could love to all of the stuff you said but i only have a pair of dumbells and the IRON GYM.

here is what my tricep workout looks like :

3set x failure of close grip push-ups.
3set x failure of chair dips.
3set x failure french press.
3set x failure of One arm bent over dumbbell Kickback.

any idea of how to improve that?
