Default Steroids

Hi all

This may have asked before so I apologise if it has. Ive been training for about 12 months or more I regulary use proteinn shakes such as PHD synergy, creatine and methoxy test 7.

I have been looking at steroids I know they can be dangerous but is this just of they are overdone and over used.

I ve not made a decision to start using steroids but just thought I would ask on here see what peoples opinions are etc and if I was to use them what would people reccomend.

Im 25 Im naturally quite a big build but tend to store fat quite easily. Im looking to increase in good size and not gain fat if this can be helped.

Thanks

Steroids are not discussed on this board.

A useful article for you is Steroids and their harmful side effects

After only 6-12 months training your body would be nowhere near reaching its own genetic potential

Look at the negative aspects of what steroids can do to you and your body.

What are their short-term effects?
Reports indicate that use of anabolic steroids produces increases in lean muscle mass, strength, and ability to train longer and harder. Many health hazards of short-term effects are reversible. The major effects of anabolic steroid use include liver tumors, jaundice, fluid retention, and high blood pressure. Additional side effects include the following: for men shrinking of the testicles, reduced sperm count, infertility, baldness, development of breasts; for women growth of facial hair, changes in or cessation of the menstrual cycle, deepened voice; for adolescents growth halted prematurely through premature skeletal maturation and accelerated puberty changes. Researchers report that users may suffer from paranoid jealousy, extreme irritability, delusions, and impaired judgment stemming from feelings of invincibility.

What are their long-term effects?
Long-term, high-dose effects of steroid use are largely unknown.

Steroids are extremely costly. You can't just run one. It doesn't work that way. And you need an entire cast of supporting drugs. Stay away from the dark side brother. The cost is much more then you think, both monetarily and physically.

Proper diet manipulation and training can provide solid mass gains with minimal differences in fat levels. Have a read of the diet articles under the tab at the top of the page, golden advice in there.

Dude, I'd recommend stay away from steroids. I know it's hard to gain good mass. And sometimes it may be appealing to go the "easy way" and go on steroids. But lemme ask you this first, would you rathe have a body that was sculpted by a drug, or a body that YOU built, that has YOUR sweat and tears in it, a body that looks good not because you cycled a drug, but because you cycled a good routine, a good diet, and the occasional protein shake.

Ask yourself that, then decide whether or not to take steroids. We can't change your mind, only you can. But you can see what most people's attitudes towards steroids are.

Good luck with your decision.

Which leads to this...if you can't get mass and eat big without AAS, you won't be able to with AAS. AAS users would laugh you out of Dodge if you tried using them before you maxed yourself naturally. AAS results are actually maximized by a greater number of intense contractions, meaning that to maximize results, you generally have to train longer. Why do you think all the AAS users have insane splits and training times? Volume works better for AAS users. Steroids aren't magic pills. And if you can't gain naturally, they are fairly useless.

There is really nothing more to be said on this issue on a natural board. I hope you don't go that route. But whatever you do, educate yourself. The more you learn, the more you realize that the easy road is not easy. In fact it's far more complicated then you imagine.
