Default skin=weird=rolling on the floor?

wasn't sure where to post this, prob not even bbuilding related, but anyways.

recently i've been noticing that at times i get this really strange feeling over my body. more specifically, it feels like my skin. it's sort of like needles hitting all over my body (but different to pins & needles) but it's also sorta itchy and then there's another element which i can't really describe. anyways, there's no actual markings on my skin at all when this happens (however due to the furious scratching i end up going red anyways).

it wouldn't be so bad, except lately it's been getting worse. especially today. it happened about 5 hrs before my workout and it was so strong a literally stripped off and began rolling around. it doesn't last long (thankfully) and just instantly disappears. and it happened again while weight lifting (barbell bicep curls) before leaving again (after i'd once again stripped off and scratched).

anyways, i've got no idea.

Hi, Firstly dont scratch. It could be an immune system thing, kidney, thyroid, there are lots of causes of itch with no rash, you may need a blood test or thyroid function test,

You should go and see your Doc.....He'll sort it mate.....

kk. i actually had a blood test and thyroid test a few months back for a stomach related problem. came back negative though. but i guess the more symptoms the more chance they have of finding out what's wrong. tx bud.

That sounds very un-convenient indeed. The best advice would be to go and see a doctor. Sure wouldn't want to get one of these 'itches' at the last rep of ya bench press!

you should definitely see a doctor, sounds pretty serious if it is getting that bad for you.

I am experiencing something similar. Once or twice a day I am getting these rashes mostly on my legs and it itches like crazy... I am trying hard not to scratch but it is very difficult. I am going to go see a doctor tomorrow.
My guess is that it may be from one or some of the supplements I am using. has anyone experienced this? right now I am taking whey protein, bcaa, and most recently animalpak

Also I am noticing that the rashes come when my body temp changes... when I take a bath or after is most common

might be rosacea. I Have a minor case of it on my arms and if i take a hot shower and dont let my body warm down, and go runnning out my house and to work or something, my face turns beat red and is hot to the touch.

Have you had a change in any medications?

Could it be alergies?

Dry skin?

Have you been taking something with Niacin?

Niacin, also called vitamin B3 or nicotinic acid, is used in high doses to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. Common side effects of niacin include flushing (redness or warmth of the face), itching, stomach upset, mild dizziness, and headache.

Just things to think about.
