I don't have the condition but I'm curious because it seems that a lot of bodybuilders get this. It's mostly attributed to steroid use but I'm wondering if this is also common among natural lifters.

from what i understand, if you get it naturally it would almost always happen during puberty. if you do get something that looks like it, its most likely psuedogynecomastia, or fat deposits that look like gynecomastia.

theres really no way to tell if you have it other than an exam by a physician.
what i would suggest is read around about weight loss here on the site. calculate your BMR, subtract 500 from that and eat that many calories per day. pick one of the beginner workouts and stick with it. you will lose the weight and you will be able to tell. you have a very good chance of it just being pseudogynecomastia. good luck and be strong!

an anti estrogen like horny goat weed might help. but it is no substitute for a doctor.

I was just diagnosed with this and I lift clean. When I told my doctor I did creatine, he gave me a look like I told him I was drinking poison. I have to re-evaluate my lifting I guess. I don't want this to get worse.

From growing up in the 60's it was a problem from smokin' too much "herb".. So how are you relaxin' after your workout???
