Training can in some instances improve gyno or rather the appearance of it. Key in managing it without medical assistance is keeping body fat low - diet, conditioning, and weights. If hypertrophy (gain muscle) is your goal, opt for slow progress in weight/muscle to keep fat gains minimal.

Creatine has been proven in dozens of studies to be a healthy and effective supplement. Short term increases in size/weight are the result of water retention, easily reduced by drinking a ton of water or avoiding high doses of creatine by opting for 2-3 grams daily...S o I wouldn't worry much about this.

depending on the underlying cause, gyno can be pretty easy to treat.

i dont see why you would need to rethink lifting.

Here are a list of causes. I see nothing about weight lifting.

Ironically I saw another list on here where almost all those thigns ALSO cause cancer. So you're doubly screwed if it's one of those.

I guess I wasn't clear, I never want to stop lifting. I need to rethink my diet and how I'm attacking bodybuilding in general. I've gained just under 40 pounds in under 2 years, maybe I need to slow that down. The cause isn't weightlifting, but from what the surgeon told me, hormone imbalance.

I'd say I've suffered from psuedogynecomastia since I was about 15 (19 now), I've never been overweight (I weigh about 140 pounds) so was pretty embarrassed when I started to develop small moobs

I'm not so fussed now because it doesn't seem as bad as it used to and makes my chest look bigger :P

It'll go in time and definately will when you start weight loss or cutting fat, I'm bulking at the minute for the next few months but am looking forward to finally getting rid of it and just showing lean muscle.
