How many reps should I be doing to build muscle?

There is no right or wrong answer about what number of reps is the "best" for building muscle. For maximum muscle growth research suggests you should stay in the 6-12 rep range. To get the most out of your workouts you should vary your exercises, reps and intensity. Your muscles adapt to your training schedule vary quickly so it's important you keep mixing things up.
