Home » Bodybuilding & Fitness Q&A » Do I need to take supplements, or is this only if I have a deficiency in my diet? |
As sports people we burn more vitamins, protein and minerals than normal sedentary people. Most athletes and bodybuilders find they need to take protein and carbohydrate shakes to keep up their protein count and total calories for the day. It is possible to get the required nutrients from food alone, but it's impractical on a day to day basis.
