Lower Back Machine Extension Instructions:

Sit on the lower back machine and push your butt right back into the seat. The padding should be resting on your shoulder blades (see picture 1). Keeping your lower body fixed and rotating at the hips, extend your back fully. Pause, the lower the weight back to the starting position. Repeat.

Tips and Safety Advice:

Do this exercise slowly. Use this exercise as a stepping stone to hyperextensions.
