About Mitchell Graves

I’m a fitness enthusiast turned expert and author.  I’ve been training with weights for over 15 years and personal training for the last five years.  Certified through ACT, my specialties include increasing athletic performance, fat loss and muscle building for the active individual.

I began working out as a kid in Tae Kwon Do when I was nine.  Push-ups and sit-ups were all I had.  I obtained my first black belt at 15 and my second black belt in a different style of Tae Kwon Do at 17.  My martial arts career has persisted as I now practice Capoeira.

In addition to martial arts, I’ve played football and ran track from middle school until college D2.  Always a sprinter, a great physique was important to me.

However, it wasn’t until my friends persisted in helping them that I got serious about training and helping people transform their bodies.  After my first client transformation, I never looked back.

I have long seen the link between fitness and overall life performance.  I work with my clients to not only improve their physique, but I help them improve all aspects of their life.  My motto, “Get Fit With Mitch” is a lifestyle call which means to get all the areas of your life “fit”.

I will be competing in my first WBFF Championship show at the Northeast Championships in Providence, Rhode Island in November 2011. I believe heavily that it’s not about how much you can lift, but how you look and feel.

I’m the author of Rapid Ripped Abs, a guide to burning fat and getting ripped abs for active men and women.  I’m also the writer of www.fitwithmitch.com where I’ve been educating readers on fitness for over three years.
