About Ashley Johns

I have spent the past year and a half rebuilding my life.  Twenty six years of eating whatever I wanted and one year of truly losing sight of who I was, it was time to make a change.  I have lost 37 pounds to date and in October, 2010, will compete in my first Bikini and Sports Model Competition.  I believe in the power of the mind and that whatever goals I set for myself, I will attain.  This mindset has formed as a result of my journey the past year and a half with myself, and only becomes more concrete month by month.  This has become a way of life for me now and everyday I work towards bettering myself, physically and mentally.

I have found that my passion lies in sharing with others my experience and giving them the tools they need to grow.  I hope to one day lead people down the healthy path, in hopes they can change their lives by making the right choices.  In April, 2010 I will get my Personal Trainer Certification!

The past year and a half has given me so much physically, but mostly, mentally.  I am so honored to be able to write and share my experience, knowledge and love for health and fitness on Muscle & Strength.  My passion lies in matters of the mind, motivation, confidence, discipline and the will to move forward.

I watched your U-Tube video from your web site and your before pix are me now.
I'm 5'9 and at my highest weight of 185. Its been a hard 2 years in my marriage and life but now we are on a good road and my life has gotten better. I feel ready to get myself back. I would love just to get to 165 and you are gonna be a big part of my motivation. Thank you for being here. I also just ordered the no suga bracelet and cant wait to get it. My nick name is suga sher :/ Thank you Ashley for putting yourself out there for us.
